
You would think they'd be busy doing their squirrel in the springtime things, but they always seem ready to take time from their schedules to give me some attitude. 
I think camellias are (or can be) so beautiful, but I'm glad I can appreciate them in parks or other people's gardens. They get so messy -- especially here after the rain. (don't get me wrong, I have plenty of messy things in my garden, I just don't feel the need for this particular messy, especially when there are such exquisite examples not far away.)

I almost didn't include this picture since I still have pink cherry blossoms from LAST YEAR at the bottom of this page, but I'm trying not to let my blog-slacker shame control my actions, so here you have it -- a beautiful blossom fresh from 2007! They're so delicate, and EVERYWHERE right now.
